With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl S. DeGonia of Joplin, Missouri, born in Blackwell, Missouri, who passed away on March 9, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Albert and Mary Lou DeGonia (Richter); and his brothers, Paul David DeGonia and Jerome "Jerry" DeGonia. He is survived by: his children, John Hudson of Australia, Carl W. DeGonia, Tammy Jessen and Teressa Earley; and his siblings, Irene Carrier, Jim Tyler of Webb City, Linda Smith of Carterville, Emul DeGonia (Gail) of Reddings Mill, Larry DeGonia (Brenda) of Joplin, Ray DeGonia (Susie) of Joplin and Shelly Ebbs (David) of Joplin. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be of your choice to Joplin Humane Society, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Shriners Hospital and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
