He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Reed and Iola Reed (Perry); his siblings, Darrell Reed and Maxine Collingsworth; and his granddaughter Adriana Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Reed, Christopher Reed, Tamara McDonnel, Cherrie Evans, Holly Smith, Maria Steele and Stephanie Hutchen; and his sister Barbara Carver. He is also survived by eleven grandchild and seven great grandchildren.
