He is survived by: his daughter Maggie Messner; the parent of his child Mandi Gilstrap of Joplin; his children, Maximus Messner, Sadie Messner of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Kaleb Gillette of Broken Arrow; his parents, Terri Greenfeather (Jerry) of Joplin and Tim Messner of Oronogo; his sisters, Toni Anderson (James) of Webb City, Tomi West (Martin) of Broken Arrow and Katelynn Messner; his grandparents, Doris Sill of Joplin, Jack and Theba Messner of Joplin; his nieces and nephews, Mauree, Ian, Justin, Maya, Paige, Aliyah, Tatum and Owen; and his son Max. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
