It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bonnie Swanson of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jones and Betty Jones (Phelps); her sisters, Sharon Hayes and Kathryn Halvorson; and her half-brother Tony Jones.
She is survived by: her pet Bo; her half-sister Doris Boogren of Iowa; and her nieces and nephews, Steve Hayes (Deb) of Joplin, Stan Hayes of Joplin, Dean Halvorson of Bristol, CT, Tamara Medved (Peter) of East Hampton, CT and Brenda Coleman (Liam) of Portland, CT. She is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery (415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Joplin Humane Society in care of the mortuary.
