With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Louise Wirick of Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Ben Myers and Dorothy Myers (Oltman); her brothers, Bill Myers, Harold Myers, Jim Myers and Garey Myers; and her stepson Ollie Wirick.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Wirick; her daughter Kayla Hoffman Pekarek of Joplin; her grandsons, Garrett Pekarek (Whitney) of St. Louis, MO and Preston Pekarek (Lydia) of Wichita, KS; and her brother Jack Myers (Carole) of Joplin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
