She was predeceased by: her parents, John English and Lorean English (Marler); and her son Randy Shirley. She is survived by: her husband David H. Cooke; her sons, Jim Shirley (Linda) of Joplin and Anthony Shirley of Baxter Springs, Kansas; and her siblings, Michael English (Susie) of Joplin and Shirley Bruce (Larry) of Riverton, Kansas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
