With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Joan Becker of Joplin, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on April 1, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Barbara Joan departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Barbara Joan. Though Barbara Joan may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Orville "Vic" and Vivian Freese (Spencer); and her husband Daniel Joseph Becker. She is survived by: her children, John F Becker of Catoosa, OK and Vicki Jo Waggoner (Scott) of Shell Knob, MO. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Miami (1432 B St NW, Miami, OK 74354).
