He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grissom and Bessie Grissom; his wife Donna Grissom (Dollins); his daughter Sherry Grissom; and his siblings, James Grissom, Charles Grissom, Jeanne Alford and Dorothy Thomas.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Grissom (Shirley) of Waco, Steve Grissom (Mary) of Webb City and Kevin Grissom (Casey) of Duenweg; and his brothers, Robert Grissom (Dottie) of Chetopa, KS and Ronald Grissom (Debra) of Joplin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
