It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice Burkhart in Joplin, Missouri, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Dennis Heard and Edith Mildred Heard (Shaffer); and her daughters, Nanette Slabaugh and Melissa Perry. She is survived by: her sister Beth Pretschold (Wayne) of Milwaukee; her son-in-law Steve Perry of Joplin; her grandchildren, Hunter Perry (Lynsey) of Joplin, Lauren C. Porter (Kendon) of Joplin and Rebecca Gubera of Joplin; her great grandchildren, Connor, Reagan, Bianca, Brooks, Thatcher, Kennedy and Griffin; and also Stefani Goerlich.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Southside Community Church.
