With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Albert C. Long of Joplin, Missouri, born in Jane, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2024 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Long and Pearl Long (Pasley); his wife Loraine Bixler; and his brother Royce Long. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynda Hoover (Bill) of Joplin, Anita Brown (Bert) of Purdy, MO. and Phyllis Mestas (Bobby) of Purdy; and his sister Helen Parker of Springfield, MO.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
