He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Thompson and Cypert Jenkins; and his brothers, John and Hymen. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jenkins; and his children, Donald Jenkins, Lorie Adams and Julie Richey-Jenkins. He is also survived by grandchildren, endless nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801).
