He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Katherine Elizabeth Rutledge (Mueller) and William Rutledge; his sister Lynne Oetting; and his sister-in-law Quinetta Rutledge. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Ellen Rutledge (Bill Kauffman) of Jefferson City and Michael Winston Rutledge (Rand) of New Orleans; his siblings, Leonard Rutledge of Jefferson City, Larry Rutledge (Darla) of Eugene, Cathy Quinn (Jerry) of Jefferson City and Roy Rutledge (Marietta); and his grandchildren, E. C., Annika, Alexandria and Celia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (2027 Industrial Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
