Wilma E. Mengwasser Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma E. Mengwasser of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Westphalia, Missouri, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Peter and Katherine A. Henke (Wansing); her husband Albert John "Al" Mengwasser; her siblings, Leo Henke, Carl Henke, Rose Meller (Henry), Golda Kastrup (Edward) and Mary Loehner (Edward); her great grandchild Charlotte Oaker; her parents-in-law, Theodore and Catherine Mengwasser; and her brothers-in-law, Edward Mengwasser and Cornelius Mengwasser.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Clayton of Jefferson City and Debbie Scheperle (Mike) of Jefferson City; her grandchildren, Andrew Clayton, Ashleigh Hoose (Anthony), Molly Bax (Mike), Mitch Scheperle (Nicole) and Megan Oaker (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Abe Hoose, Annabelle Hoose, Allison Bax, Avery Bax, Cole Bax, Cohen Scheperle, Sonny Scheperle, Sawyer Oaker, Sophia Oaker and Sullivan Oaker; and her sister-in-law Gertrude Mengwasser of St. Louis.
