It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William E Sloan (Jefferson City, Missouri), born in London, Kentucky, who passed away on February 23, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisha Sloan and Effie Sloan (Daughty); and his brother Leroy Sloan. He is survived by: his children, William R. Sloan (Carol) of Topeka Kansas, Sandy Hartman (Larry) of Topeka, Kansas and Rita Holtmeyer (Jerry) of Jefferson City, MO; his grandchildren, Cara Sloan-Ramos, Wade Sloan, Paula Sloan, Brian Hartman, Thad Hartman, Mindy Laughlin, Richard Holtmeyer, Travis Holtmeyer, Jordyn Musick Bax and Ethan Musick; his significant other Margie Kroeger; and his sister Ruby Garland (James). He is also survived by Fifteen great-grandchildren.
