Vernon Walther Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Vernon Walther of Jefferson City, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto John and Marie Max Walther; his wife Lorene Gray Thompson; his stepson Robert Thompson; and his stepgrandson Michael Hoelscher.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Roger Thompson (Nancy) and Elizabeth Siebeneck (Jerry). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The general public is welcome to attend the visitation and are required to wear personal masks as well as encouraged to follow social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund (4409 St. John's Road, Jefferson City, Missouri, 65101) or Calvary Lutheran High School (2525 State Hwy B, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101.) Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
