He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond W. Towner and Etta M. Towner (Zuehlke); his wife Lou Towner; his children, Linda Petty (Jim) of Jefferson City, Mark Towner (Susan) of Jefferson City and Jill Howell (John) of Lenexa; his siblings, John Towner of Lawrence and Dorothy Kirkpatrick (Chester) of Sedalia; and his grandchildren, Lisa Petty Attaway (Craig), Tim Petty (Nicole), Matthew Petty, Ryan Towner (Amanda), Keith Towner (Julie), Laura Smith (Beau-Gabriel), Meredith Howell and David Howell (Kaci). He was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren.
