He is survived by: his wife Christie Marie Haller Thompson; his children, Danielle Maddox (Jarred), Jacob (Naomi Wilder) and Sara Fain (Corey Torres); his stepchildren, Hallie Gaines (David), Brett Thompson (Chelsea) and Taos; his grandchildren, Aniah Perry, Haylee Maddox, Tessa Fain, Declan Torres, Joseph Gaines, William Gaines and Dean Thompson; his siblings, Melissa O'Guin (Rich), Mary Michele Fischer (Becky Berry) and Bill Fain (Melody); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Hudson, Eileen Hicks and Jay Garber.
