He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Mahaffey Hunter and Dorothy Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Lehman, Kenneth Lehman, Jo Ann Rich, Gloria Lehman and Reta Lehman.
He is survived by: his wife Vernola; his son Scott Hunter (Wendy); his grandchildren, Maxwell Hunter and Scarlett Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, Milton Lehman, Kent Rich and Sheryl Lehman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
