He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Henry and Frances Mary Rustemeyer (Schulte); his son Donald Rustemeyer; his children-in-law, Penny Rustemeyer, Angela Rustemeyer and John Chenalt; his grandson Anthony Rustemeyer; and his siblings, Margaret Brendel, Mary Melcher, John Rustemeyer and Bernard Rustemeyer.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Glenda Luebbert (Roger), Frank Rustemeyer (Joy), Robert Rustemeyer, Kenny Voss (Susan) and Jennifer Bond; his grandchildren, John Chenault (Denay), Chelsea Meyer (Jonathan), Andrew Luebbert, Bryan Luebbert (Melanie), Scott Luebbert (Katie), Chris Rustemeyer (Mindy), Matt Rustemeyer (Elizabeth), Timothy Rustemeyer (Hanna), Samantha Rustemeyer, Sheldon Keence (Michaela), Noah Voss, Brady Voss, Zoey Bond and Charli Bond; and his sisters, Geraldine Cornett and JoAnn Prenger. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City (3210 N 10 Mile Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes (3210 N 10 Mile Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (216 Broadway St, Jefferson City, MO 65101).
