She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin John and Rosie E. Stafford (Busch); her husband Gordon Barnes; her sons, Gordon Allen Barnes and Kevin Barnes; her siblings, Opal Horton and Henry Stafford; and her brothers-in-law, Duane Horton and Troy Courtright.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Barnes (Alice) of Jefferson City, Michael Barnes (Sheri) of Jefferson City and Sharon Schaefer (Larry) of Westphalia; her sister Barbara Courtright of Oklahoma; and her pet Tucker. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
