Sandra Prenger Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Prenger of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra Prenger to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert J. Major and Edith E. Major (Burks); her husband Dennis Prenger; her children, Ryan Prenger (Buffey), Denise McCorkle (Michael) of Jefferson City and Christina Edgar (Shawn) of Fulton; her grandsons, Bradey Prenger, Evan McCorkle, Riley Edgar, Dawson Prenger, Carter Prenger and Ethan Edgar; and her sisters, Beverly Lale (Bob) of Jefferson City and Melody Green (Jerry) of Jefferson City. She was also cherished by 27 nieces and nephews.

When the Covid pandemic began she filled her time researching, designing and making over 200 masks to give to family, friends and others concerned about keeping them safe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Sandy Prenger Memorial Fund to allow the family to continue to give to the many charities she supported in her name.
