She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ivie and Ora Ivie (Robertson); her former spouses, Jerry Pierson and Curtis Basnett; her husband Reuben Shelden; her son Timothy Pierson; and her siblings, Nettie Shelden and Don Ivie.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Pierson (Vickey) of San Leandro and Thomas Pierson of Jefferson City; her stepson Ken Basnett of Jefferson City; her granddaughter Kimberly Pierson of San Leandro; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Ivie of Jefferson City; and her friend Susan Henderson of Holts Summit.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 4930 Old Lohman Rd, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
