Ruth Brown Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2020, at the age of 80, Ruth Brown of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur and Margaret Gibson Jr. (Dallowitz); her brother Arthur Sands Gibson III; and her brother-in-law Dow Foley. She is survived by: her husband Harold Brown of Jefferson City, MO; her children, Lucia Pink (Dean) of Punta Gorda, FL, Ken Brown of Jefferson City, MO and Jennifer Harrison (Brian) of Lohman, MO; her sister Faith "Sandy" Foley of Sarasota, FL; her sister-in-law Belevia "Be" Gibson of Peoria, IL; her grandchildren, Steven Pink, Rachel Andreasen, Taylor Brown (Tanner Morrow), McKenzie Brown, Kyle Fischer, Morgan Fischer and Lucas Harrison; her great grandchildren, Kennidi, Trip, Autumn and Everly Andreasen; her nephews, Michael Foley (Wendy) of Sarasota, FL and Arthur Sands Gibson IV of Peoria, IL.; and her niece Margret Henderson (John) of Tampa, FL. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
The general public is welcome to attend the visitation while following social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center in memory of Ruth "Pat" Brown.
