It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lee Beal of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Chillicothe, Missouri, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Leo and Ella Lee Beal (Emerson); and his son Spencer J. Kemmer. He is survived by: his spouse Jackie A. Wade; his children, Lori Murphy (John) of Wantagh, N. Y., Arnold "Chip" Beal (Angela) of Lebanon, Tenn, Julia Backues (Andrew) of Jefferson City and Kimberly Closser (Tim) of Jefferson City; and his daughter-in-law Maria Kemmer of Overland Park. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; four great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
