He is survived by: his wife Mary Wood; his son Bryce Emerson Wood (Lisa) of Jefferson City; his siblings, Janice Parker (James) of Overland Park, Jean Rentfro of Jefferson City and Marcia Wood; his granddaughter Kirsten Welschmeyer (Theodore "Gary"); his niece Kristina Rentfro; his great-nephew Eli Daniel Rentfro; and his pet Fred Emerson Cat.
