It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wray Leech of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Maryville, Missouri, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Leech and Emelia Leech (Zopf); his wife Jeanne Bethel; his sons, Philip Leech and Greg Leech; and his sister Nancy Harding.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristan Leech of Jefferson City and Tammy Simmons (Jeff) of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Lori Taber, Zac Leech, Dusty Simmons and Mason Simmons; and his brother David Leech (Susannah) of Chesterfield, Missouri.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grand-children.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Legion or an animal shelter/rescue of your choice.
