He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Morgan and Paralee Harp Morgan; and his siblings, William "Bill" Morgan, Thomas "Tommy" Morgan and Elizabeth Thacker (Morgan).

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Morgan; his sons, Robert Brian Morgan (Carrie) of Ozark and Jeffrey Neal Morgan (Dana) of Ozark; his sister Bernice "Booty" Franz (Dennis) of Mascoutah; his grandchildren, Hailey Hale (Morgan), Jacob Morgan, Colten Morgan, Corbin Morgan, Madison Morgan and Macy Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Hale and Elliott Hale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Shiners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
