He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Dorothy Melloway (Stephenson). He is survived by: his wife Janet Melloway (Emmel); his sons, Charles "Chuck" Melloway (Monica) of Phoenix, AZ, Christopher "Chris" Melloway (Jen) of St. Louis, MO and Curtis "Curt" Melloway (Cari) of Jefferson City, MO; his stepdaughters, Katie Struttman of St. Louis, MO and Molly Crenshaw (David) of Jefferson City, MO; his grandchildren, Drake, Grant, Nicholas, Gavin, Liam, Grace, Paxton, Mason, William, Neilan and Norah; his sister Dorothy "Debbie" Hines of Tyler, TX; and his niece April Dillard (Sam) of Benwheeler, TX.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Freeman Mortuary (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101).
