With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Leo Reuter of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Boonville, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Reuter and Stella Reuter (Wessing); his wife MaryAnn Schupp; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Biesemeyer, Jim Salmon and Bob Biesemeyer.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Loehner (K. C.) and Darren Reuter (Renee); his grandchildren, C. J. Loehner (Lauren), Robbie Loehner (Tawlivia), Dakota Reuter (Brittani), Dalton Reuter and Justin Hassler; his great grandchildren, Ihla, Leo, Archer, Lilyann Loehner and Julian Reuter; and his siblings, Bonnie Salmon, Kenny Reuter (Joelynn), Earl Reuter (Darlene), John Reuter and James Reuter (Jackie). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many other special friends.

“I have fond memories of Bob. He was an excellent chef, business man and family man. I enjoyed visiting with him when he had his restaurant on Missouri Blvd in Jefferson City. I ran a business in the same shopping center. Bob always had a friendly word to say and he always made sure that we had plenty to eat. Reuter’s was an excellent place to go for a fantastic meal, thanks to Bob. He liked to make people happy. My sincere sympathy to the family of Robert (Bob) Reuter, may he rest in peace.”
