It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita J. Kerperin of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Marcella Kerperin (Forck); her brothers-in-law, Elmer Wankum and Tom Graessle; her niece Carla Wankum; and her great-nephews, Joshua and Zachery Reeves.
She is survived by: her siblings, Robert L. Kerperin (Carol) of Taos, Agnes Graessle of Taos and Catherine Wankum of Taos; her nieces and nephews, Wayne Wankum (Donna), Shirley Woehr (Dennis), Christy Schaefer (Ron), LeAnn Graessle, Richard Graessle, Eileen Reeves (Oscar), Dana Lalk (Jim) and Kevin Kerperin (Sara); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan Kinkade (Casey), Tyler Wankum (Kallie), Treaver Woehr, Brandon Schaefer, Jordan Schaefer (Katherine Parker), Caitlin Reinauer (Christian), Jaelynn Schaefer and Kelsey; and also, Lillie, Hayden Wankum and Coralee Kinkade.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (7319 Rte M, Jefferson City, MO 65101). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
