He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Scott Bowles and Jane Schacklett Bowles (Bird); his wife Linda Bowles; his grandparents, Dr. Herman Bowles and Margaret Ann Bowles (Scott); his uncle Tom Bowles (Lou); and his brother-in-law Grayson Peters.
He is survived by: his close friend Doberman; his siblings, Margaret Elaine Bowles of Jefferson City, Lynn Peters of Jefferson City, Missouri and David S. Bowles (Constance) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Peters, Ryan Bowles and Chris Bowles; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace, Gabriel, Nathan and Madison. He is also survived by many cousins and other extended family.
