He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward McCann and Mamie Friederica Kampman McCann; and his siblings, Charles "Wayne" McCann, Earl Clark McCann, Leonard Henry McCann, Arthur Edward McCann, Frieda Marie McCann, Wilma Joan Roller and Howard Kampman McCann.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis McCann Caudle and David Lee McCann; his wife Mary Kathleen "Katie" Schrimpf Schnieders (late Allen Schnieders); his children, Gary Schnieders (Cyndy), Sam Schnieders (Sally), Julie Mercurio (Mark), Sue Frank (Gerry) and Tricia Faherty (Charles); his grandchildren, Christy Caudle, Bill Chapman (Natalie), Jay Schnieders (Jennifer), Sally Henderson (Stephen), Sarah Jane Farrer (John), Abby McEwan (Tom), Sammy Schnieders (Jamie), Alison Schnieders, Nic Mercurio (Katie), Joe Mercurio, Megan Lingmerth (David), Matthew Mercurio, Mark Mercurio, Nathan Mercurio, Luke Mercurio, Adam Frank (Alyssa), Brenden Frank (Lindsey), Ben Frank (Megan), Emily Murphy (Jacob), Kate Faherty, Jill Faherty and Rachael Faherty; and his nephew Ray.
