It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pete Jones of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Harrisonville, Missouri, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Bert Jones and Ada May Jones (Luper); his wife Caroline Jones; and his brothers, John Dee Jones (Lucille), Edgar Jones (Delores) and Donald Jones (Mary Ann).
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Jones (Carla) of Osage Beach, Casey Jones (Janice) of Jefferson City, Pete Jones, Jr. of Palm Springs, Calif and Paula Jones-Oxman O'Fallon (Kent); and his grandchildren, Melissa Clark (Donovan), Wade "Tate" Jones (Tara Tillman), Kelsey Luebbert (Ryan), Brice Jones (Jenni Morris), Taylor Bartlett (Jamie), Kim Jones, Elizabeth Jones and Dustin Jones. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
