With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Alfred Lage of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on February 8, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Bernard and Teresa Bernadine Lage (Veltrop); his grandson Brody Kempker; his son-in-law Marvin Kempker; his siblings, Loraine Lage, Mary Ann Haller (Clarence), Regina Falter, Joseph Lage, James Lage and Walter Lage; his sister-in-law Norine Lage; and his parents-in-law, Fred Goeke, Sr., Viola Koenigsfeld, Raymond Koenigsfeld and Marvin Herigon.

He is survived by: his wife LaVerne; his children, Mary Kay Kempker (Gary Sr.), Jane Kempker (Wardsville) and John Lage (Martha); his grandchildren, Gary Kempker Jr. (Jessica), Ambrosia Kempker, Sydney Kempker, Simon Kempker, Maghan Lage, Chad Lage, Rebecca Lage and Jack Lage; his great grandchildren, Gavyn Kempker and Hailey Kempker; his brothers, Lawrence Lage, Bernard Lage (Linda) and Wilbur Lage (Carol); his siblings-in-law, Doris Lage and Lee Falter (Teresa); and his parents-in-law, Ann Goeke, Rose Porting Lahr Talken, Marcella Koenigsfeld, Clarence Koenigsfeld (Margie), George Koenigsfeld (Sarah), Marilyn Herigon, Leon Koenigsfeld (Eileen), Frances Veltrop (Harold) and Andrew Koenigsfeld (Mary Pat).

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services are being delayed until the older adults have received their vaccines.
