He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Chilton and Imagene Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Chilton; his children, Jonathan Chilton (Sarah) of Jefferson City and Jade DeWitt (Greg) of Kansas City; his siblings, Diane Knight of St. Louis, Jerry Chilton of Desoto, Calvin Chilton of Gulfport and Tom Chilton of Chandler, AZ.; and his grandchildren, Collin Chilton, Riley DeWitt, Tori DeWitt, Cooper Chilton and Emmy Chilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
