She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil G. Ortmeyer and Helen W. Ortmeyer (Sanning); her son David Fromme; her brother Michael Ortmeyer; her brothers-in-law, Robert Eichholz and Dale Kliethermes; her niece Vicki Eichholz-Schulte; and her nephew Julian Menke.
She is survived by: her daughter Bev Thessen (John); her daughter-in-law Sharraine Fromme; her grandchildren, Kristin Scheppers (Matt) and Jake Thessen (Rebecca); her stepgrandson Derrick Meister (Marenda); her siblings, Joanie Kliethermes, Lucille Veltrop (Wilfred), Emil, Jr. Ortmeyer (Ursula), Ruth VanLoo (Dave), Mary Eichholz, Helen Winge (Ken), John Ortmeyer, Louis Ortmeyer, Rose Ann Ortmeyer and Brenda Rieke (Ron); and her sister-in-law Donna Ortmeyer. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (7319 Rte M, Jefferson City, MO 65101). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Church, Cole County Relay for Life Hummingbird Heroes.
