She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester W. Waner and Edyth S. Waner (Conway); her son Robert K. Shields; her siblings, Reba Waner, Hazel Downing (Jack) and Chester C. "Timer" Waner (Flo); her niece Anita June Lee (Waner); and her nephew Michael Waner.
She is survived by: her son Greg L. Shields (Linda) of Jefferson City; her daughter-in-law Mary Jayne Tuzzo of Quincy; her granddaughter Amy Coyle of O'Fallon; and her stepgrandsons, William Simms (Jennifer) of Kansas City and Matthew Simms.
