It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norbert Joseph Schaefer of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schaefer and Johanna Anna Schaefer (Toebben); and his siblings, Dorothy Richter (Rick), Mary Otto, Joan Branson (Oscar) and Walter Schaefer (Ruth).

He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Marsha Schaefer, Darla Schaefer, Pamela Cruz (Scott) and Brian Schaefer (Cindy Dudenhoeffer); his grandson Anthony Schaefer; and his brother-in-law Harry Otto.

Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
