He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kliethermes and Sophia Pontius; his stepparents, Harry Pontius and Isabel Kliethermes; his sister Dorothy Kliethermes; and his brother-in-law Dean Blackwell.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Roark; his children, Sheryl Baysinger (Randy) and Steve Kliethermes (Cindy); his siblings, Robert "Buz" Kliethermes (MaryLee) and Jean Blackwell; and his grandchildren, Michael Smallwood (Stacey), Sonya Logan (Dewayne), Angela Smallwood (David Suprenaut), Matthew Kliethermes (Emily) and Brittney Kliethermes (Joey Blankenship). He is also survived by 3 great-great grandchildren.
