He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson and Genevieve Logan Sr. (Scott); and his siblings, John "Skeeter" Logan, Carrie, Thelma, Mary and Carolyn Logan.
He is survived by: his children, Nelson "Dewayne" Logan (Sonya), Kandi Ann Brown (Stephen), Bryan Lowe and Danial Lowe; his brothers, Mikel Logan and Bruce Logan; his aunts, Josephine Butler, Jeannie Dale Logan and Helen Logan; his close friend Gayel Lowe; and his former wife Barbara Carver. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
