He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Champlain and Elizabeth Champlain (Hoffman); his siblings, Donnie, Joe Dean, Sharon and Mary Sue; his brothers-in-law, Larry Nobbman and Marvin Wekamp; and his parents-in-law, John and Dorothy Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Lana; his daughter Ashley Blackmon (Romelle); his sisters, Marilyn Nobbman, Margaret Wekamp and Linda Oliver (Keith); and his siblings-in-law, Patty Champlain and Hossein Dashtaki. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors (2613 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
