He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James A. Reid and Esther "Pat" Reid (Cassity); his siblings, Jim Reid and Susan Reid; and his parents-in-law, Nathan and Dorothy Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Reid; his daughters, Sarah Murray (Sean) of Kansas City, Anne Curchin (Alex) of Joplin and Emily Stanley (Logan) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Evan Murray, Emma Murray, Louisa Curchin, Alexander Curchin, Reid Stanley and Marianne Stanley; his siblings-in-law, Anne Roberts, Terry Reid and Stan Jones (Ann); his niece Megan Jones-Smith (Nathan); his nephew Clay Jones (Laurie); and his friends, Mike and Heather Grote.
