He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Engelbrecht and Anna Engelbrecht (Heinrich); his significant other Lola Williams; and his siblings, Ralph Engelbrecht, Lucille Engelbrecht and Doris Vestal.
He is survived by: his children, Marvin Engelbrecht (Brenda) of Osage Beach, Cindy Thomeczek (Lee) of Linn and Mike Engelbrecht (Brenda) of Jefferson City; his sisters, Geneva Williams (Wayne) of Lampe and Myrene Zey (Claude) of Lincoln; and his grandchildren, Melissa Snellen, Kori Campbell, Amanda Christian, Erin Coles, Clayton Engelbrecht, Chelle Hentges and Annabeth Thomeczek. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
