She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Potter and Elsie Potter (Martin); her daughter Sarah Cole; and her siblings, Sanford, Stanley Potter, Lorene Skaggs, Lena Roderman and Pauline Gibson.

She is survived by: her husband Ernest Giles Cole; her son Brian Cole (Jennifer) of Jefferson City; and her grandsons, Ernest Taylor Cole (Ethan Allen Cole) and Elijah Wayne Cole. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
