Madalyn Ann Schnieders Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madalyn Ann Schnieders of Jefferson City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dirkschneider and Magdalena Dirkschneider (Liekhus); her husband Charles E. Hooker; her sons, Craig and Jeffrey Schnieders; her granddaughter Rachael Schnieders; her siblings, Violet Baumert, Maureen Miller, Rita Hamilton, Roman and Marvin Dirkschneider; and her stepson Kerry Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Schnieders (Tammy), Michael Schnieders (Cindy), Chris Schnieders (Denise), Lori Concannon (Pat), Gail Hibdon (Robert) and Jon Schnieders (Tia) of Lenexa, KS; her daughters-in-law, Missy Schnieders and Sharon Schnieders; her stepchildren, Kathryn Sue Owens of Farmington, MO and Joseph Hooker (Maureen) of Quarryville, PA; and her sister Delores Arps of Worland, WY.. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild on the way; 1 great-great grandchild.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City (3210 N 10 Mile Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109). Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes (3210 N 10 Mile Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Joseph (2215 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109).
Memorials are suggested to the Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri or to the Merida Foundation.
