He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ray" Barnes and Nellie "Carolyn" Barnes (Honaker); and his brother Norman Barnes (Jeannie). He is survived by: his wife Zelma Harrison; his children, Kent Barnes of Garwood, MO, Karen Kubiak of Washington, MO, Carmen Morris (Michael) of Holts Summit, MO and Tina Barnes of Ellington, MO.; his grandchildren, Travis Barnes (Valerie), Arielle Chwascinski, Ryan Barnes, Jenna Chwascinski, Devin Barnes, Kendra Barnes, Emily Morris and Grace Morris; and his siblings, Raylene Heitman (late Donald), Sharon Fowler (Jim), Fred Barnes (Jerry) and Jerry Barnes (late Phyllis).
