With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lottie Safford of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Fairhope, Alabama, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Paul Safford, Sr.; her son Vincent Wilder, Jr.; her siblings, Sandra Thomas, Michael Merrell and L. C. Merrell; and her grandparents, Forrest, Maze Safford, Elbert and Rose Anna Johnson.
She is survived by: her mother Lula Safford, Sr. (Johnson); her son Leonard Safford (Cynthia) of Jefferson City; and her siblings, Paul Safford Jr. (Cleo) of Chicago, Charlesetta Husbands of Cincinnati, Linda Knight (Kevin) of Gilberts, Brenda Holmes (Melvin) of Bolingbrook, George Merrell of Chicago, Althea Jones (Darlyn) of Bolingbrook, Michelle Merrell-Rouse (Anthony) of Dundee, Josephine Sewell (James) of Fairhope, Carl Safford (Alice) of Fairhope, Alvin Safford (Sharon) of Fairhope, Leonard Safford (Beverly) of Fairhope and Ellora Agnew of Fairhope. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
