He is survived by: his wife Lynn Simmons; his son Corey D. Simmons; his grandchildren, Alexis Key, Devin White and Tristan Simmons; and his great grandchildren, A'mir Session, Kwa, Mauri Watson, Kha, Lani Hopson and Di'aire Grady.
