We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2019, at the age of 93, Leander A. Bax (Jefferson City, Missouri), born in Saint Elizabeth, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard H. Bax and Anna E. Bax (Eichholz); his wife Eleanor; his siblings, Arthur Bax, Zita Otto, Agatha Pfeiffer, Edmund Bax, Christine Miesner, Josephine Green, Gregory Bax and Elmer Bax; and his great grandchildren, Sean Fairchild and Justin Curry.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Curry (Gary) of Lebanon, Daniel Bax (Carlene) of St. Martins, Carol Struemph (Frank) of Villa Ridge and Sharon Crider (Sam) of Jefferson City; his sister Rosalie Gudeman of St. Anthony; and his grandchildren, Randy Curry, Ryan Curry, Christopher Curry, Dana Fairchild, Aaron Bax, Michael Bax, Sarah Adams, Emily Haarmann, Erica Wargo, Bryan Crider, Krista McCormack and Meghan Gerstner. He is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church Parish or St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery Fund.
