He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde F. Steinmetz and Annadene C. Steinmetz (Hughes); and his son-in-law Brad Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie JoAnn Deskin; his great-nephews, Zachary, Jacob and Matthew; his niece Melissa; his children, Jacqueline and Brad; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his grandsons, Henry and Jack; and also Randy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Freeman Mortuary (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Freeman Chapel (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101). The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Freeman Mortuary (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101).
